Keshodata Consulting Limited ( is a multidisciplinary consulting firm in the area of research, ICT and data analytics systems. We have been engaged by WOHED to conduct a Rapid Assessment on TB Stigma amongst populations living in Dadaab refugee camps in Garissa County. The data collection exercise for the proposed assessment will take place beginning on 27th May 2024. We are therefore seeking to recruit a high caliber Data Enumerators who will be tasked with collecting quantitative data through administering questionnaires to key groups in the assigned locations. Further details will be provided to the pre-qualified candidates

Duties and Responsibilities

Working under the leadership pf core team of consultants, the quantitative enumerators will be responsible for the following:

  • Conduct household level data collection which will entail one-on-one interviews with participants distributed on camp-level basis. Preference will be given to those with geographical knowledge of the targeted villages (especially natives)
  • Conduct interviews in Somali language and be able to communicate in English to Somali and vice-versa

Enumerators Requirements/Skills/Qualifications

  • Relevant in post-secondary/post-primary school training with evidence in community development engagements
  • Previous experience in research work will be an added advantage
  • Applicant must show evidence that they are natives of Garissa County and have advanced knowledge of their preferred camp of study
  • Availability for 2 days training in Dadaab Town followed by 4 days fieldwork
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fluency in spoken English/Kiswahili/Somali a MUST
  • Previous experience in use of Kobo Collect or ODK Collect mobile data applications will be highly desirable
  • Be in possession of working laptop for the entire days of training plus work
